A charming and secluded family home in a small
sun-drenched Province village, Rognes, 20 km north west of Aix
en Provence.
The village has no major tourist attractions which keeps it
fairly peaceful. See the links for an impression of what the
village is like. Our house is halfway up the hill which was
the focus of the medieval village of Rognes. In 1909 an earthquake
devastated the upper part of the village. Our house is on the
highest of the remaining streets. A footpath more or less on
the doorstep leads up to the hilltop and the ruins of the chateau
with a panorama stretching from the Mont St Victoire to Les
Alpilles and the Luberon.
The Main House sleeps
six adults easily, and ten if needs must. The Dependance
sleeps two to three. |
